A Thought for Good Friday

IT IS FINSIHED
                Since God in His Excellent Mercy, through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
 has allowed us to live to see another Good Friday, may we remember Him today
with prayer, and fasting and thanksgiving; and may we reflect on these
Seven Wonderful Words of the Cross- And say Blessed be His Holy Name!

1        FATHER FORGIVE THEM, for they know not what they do.           (Luke 23:34)

2        VERILY, VERILY, I say to you, Today thou shalt be with me in Paradise.(Luke 23: 43)

3        WOMAN BEHOLD THEY SON, BEHOLD THY MOTHER                    (Jn. 19:26-27)

4         MY GOG, MY GOD, Why hath thou forsaken me?                                    (Mk. 15: 34)

5         I THIRST                                                                                                       (Jn. 19:28)

6        IT IS FINISHED                                                                                            (Jn. 19:30)

7       FATHER INTO THY HANDS I COMMEND MY SPIRIT                          (Luke 23: 46)

And may the words of our mouth and the meditations of our heart,
