Leprosy- a type of sin.

And the Lord told Moses and Aaron that if a man shall have in his skin a kind of swelling, a scab or bright spot, and it appears to be like the plague of leprosy, he shall be brought to Aaron the priest, or to one of his sons the priests.  And the priest shall look on the plaque in the skin of the flesh; and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight is deeper than the skin of the flesh, it is a plague of leprosy; and the priest shall look on him and pronounce him unclean. If the bright spot be white in the skin of the flesh and the bright spot be not deeper than the skin and the hair thereof be not turned white, then the priest shall shut him up the one with the plague for seven days.

Then on the seventh day, the priest shall look on him again and if the plague is seen to be at a stay, and has not spread in the skin, then the priest shall shut him up seven days more.

And again seven days after that, the priest shall look on him again and if the spot be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean; for it was just a scab, not leprosy; and the priest shall order him to wash his clothes and pronounce him clean after he would have done so.

But if after the twenty one days, the scab was seen to have spread in the skin, at this the time of his cleansing he shall be seen by the priest another time; and if the priest observe that the scab has spread, the priest shall declare him unclean for he has leprosy.  Morewww.chaberbooks.com
