Now the bullock had been offered
for a sin offering, and one of the rams for a burnt offering. Then the second ram for the consecration was brought,
and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head. And Moses slew it and caught the blood and
with his finger put some of it on the tip of Aaron’s right ear, and upon the
thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot. And he then
brought in Aaron’s sons and he applied the blood to the tips of their right
ears and upon the thumbs of their right hand and on the great toe of their
right foot, and sprinkled the blood round about the altar.
And Moses took the fat and the rump
and all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the fat above the liver and the
two kidneys and their fat, and the right shoulder. And out of the basket of unleavened bread
that was before the Lord, he took one unleavened cake, and a cake of oiled
bread, and one wafer, and put them on the fat and the right shoulder
And he put them all upon Aaron’s
and his sons’ hands, and waved them for a wave offering before the Lord. Then he took them from off their hands and
burnt them upon the altar upon the burnt offering, consecrating them for a
sweet savor before the Lord, as an offering made by fire before the Lord. And
he took the breast and waved it before the Lord for a wave offering before the
Lord; for God had commanded that the ram of consecration was Moses’ to wave
before the Lord.
