Once again, the Lord told Moses to speak to Aaron and his
sons and give them instructions for the offerings and the sin offering.
The law of
the sin offering is this: In the place where the burnt offering is killed,
shall the sin offering be killed before the Lord, it is most holy. The priest
who offers it for sin shall eat it in the holy place, in the court of the
tabernacle of the congregation shall it be eaten.
Whatever
that touches the flesh thereof shall be holy, and when the blood thereof is
sprinkled, on any garment in the holy place, the garment shall be washed in the
holy place; but the earthen vessels wherein it is boiled shall be broken; but
if it is boiled in a pot made of bronze, the pot shall be scoured and rinsed
with water.
All the
males of the priesthood shall eat of the sin offering; for it is most holy; but
no sin offering of which any of the blood thereof is brought into the
tabernacle of the congregation to make atonement for sin shall be eaten; it
shall be burnt with fire. More
