Jonathon’s Bold Move
Now it came to pass that on a certain say, Jonathon, unknown to his father, took his armor-bearer and left quietly intending to sneak into the Philistine’s garrison. In the meantime, Saul and his six hundred men waited under a pomegranate tree in the far corner of Migron; and while they waited, no one knew that Jonathon was gone. Now in approaching the garrison of the Philistines, Jonathan had to pass within a gorge surrounded by two sharp rocks on either side, the name of one rock was Bozez and the name of the other Sench. One of the rocks was facing northwards overlooking Michmash and the other southwards overlooking Gibeah. And Jonathon told the young man with him that they should go into the garrison of the uncircumcised Philistines; for maybe the Lord would help them as it was no hard thing for the Lord to save the many as well as the few. And the armor-bearer replied and told Jonathon to do whatever his heart told him to do; for he was with him.
