God’s
Promise of Victory
So
shall it be that you keep all of God’s commandments, statues and ordinances ,
He shall keep all the promises He made unto your fathers. And He will love you,
and bless you, and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and
the fruit of the land; your grain, and your wine and your oil, and increase
your cattle and our flocks of your sheep when you are in the land which He
promised you. You shall be blessed above all people; there shall be no barren
male of female among you, or among your cattle. And the Lord will take away
from you all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt,
diseases you know quite well, upon you; but will lay them upon all those who
hate you. And you will consume all the people whom the Lord your God will deliver
unto you; your eyes shall have no pity upon them, neither shall you serve their
gods; for that will be a snare unto you. If you shall think in your heart that
perhaps these nations are greater than you, and you cannot possess them? Do not be afraid. Just remember what the Lord
your God did unto Pharaoh and all Egypt.
Remember
the great temptations which your eyes saw, and the signs and the wonders, and
the mighty hand, and the outstretched arm, whereby the Lord your God brought
you out; so do not be afraid.
