Recounts the Defeat of Og, king of Bashan
“Then
we turned and went up the way of Bashan and Og the king of Bashan came out
against us; but the Lord told me not to fear him; for He would deliver unto us
the King and all his people and all his land, and that we should do unto Og as
we did unto Sihon king of the Amorites.”
“So
the Lord our God delivered unto us Og, king of Bashan and all his people and we
smote them until there was none of them left. And we took all his cities at that time sixty
in all, and all the region of Argob in the region of Bashan.”
