BRAGADAYJAH 444

BRAGADAYJAH 444
Aaron’s Rod Budded
And after those things, God commanded Moses to speak to the children of Israel and instruct them that every one of their princes according to the house of their father should take a rod, twelve rods altogether, and write on each rod the name of the tribe to which he belonged.  And Aaron’s name was to be written on the rod of Levi.
Moses was instructed that the twelve rods were to be laid up in the tabernacle of the testimony, where the Lord was to meet with him.  Then the Lord, told Moses, further of the twelve rods, the man’s rod whom He shall choose shall blossom and He shall make to cease the murmurings of the children of Israel whereby they murmur against him.
Accordingly Moses collected the twelve rod, including that of Aaron’s and laid them in the tabernacle of the witness before the Lord.  And the next day when Moses went into the tabernacle of the witness, he found that Aaron's rod had brought forth buds and produced blossoms and bore almonds.
Then Moses took all the rods out to the congregation and each man took his own rod according to his house but Aaron’s rod was instructed to be kept within the tabernacle of the witness as a sign against the murmuring rebels and a reminder that they should never again go near the tabernacle of the Lord lest they die.
