God had given orders and particulars for a golden lamp
stand; and so Bezalel made it. He made
the lamp stand of pure gold, of beaten works of gold he made it, and its shaft
and its branches, its bowls and its knobs and its flowers all made of beaten
gold.
The lamp
had six branches going out of the sides, three branches going out of each side
six in all like a modern chandelier.
There were almond shaped bowls, projecting out of each branch, with
knobs and flowers throughout the six branches. All the knobs and branches were
made out of beaten gold and were made to look precisely the same.
There were
seven lamps altogether with snuffers and snuff bowls each made with a talent of
pure gold.
And he made
the incense altar of acacia wood with its horns also made of acacia wood
overlaid with gold. And beneath the
altar were rings of gold around the rim of the altar, with rings and staves all
made of pure gold. And he made the holy anointing oil also, as God had inspired
him and gave him knowledge and understanding to make. More
