So it came to pass that all the wise-hearted among the Children of Israel set about doing the
work the Lord commanded; they made the ten linen curtains of fine-twined linen
of blue and purple and scarlet; the curtains of goat’s hair for the tent over
the tabernacle, eleven in all, with the loops and clips and couplets, as the
Lord commanded; they made the covering for the tent of ram’s and badgers skins;
they made the boards of acacia wood, both the number of boards and sockets as
commanded with the various attachments and sockets coupled together exactly as
God would have them made; and all the boards were overlaid with gold as
required.
Also made
was the inner veil of blue and purple and scarlet and fine-twined linen with
the cherubim attached, with the pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold; and
also the outer veil with an overhanging for the tabernacle door of blue and
purple and scarlet and fine-twined linen of needlework; and the five pillars
with their hooks and overlaid with gold, the capitals and their bands also made
of gold and sockets of bronze. More
