BRAGADAYJAH 630
The Red Sea Comparison
So the children of Israel crossed over the river Jordan as
it were on dry land on the tenth day of the first month and set up camp in
Gilgal on the East border of Jericho.
And the twelve stones which were brought out of the Jordan Joshua set up
as a monument in Gilgal, and having done so, he addressed the people and said, “When
your children shall ask their fathers in time to come the meaning of the twelve
stones, then they shall be told, that their fathers came over the river Jordan
on dry land; for the Lord your God dried up the waters of the Jordan from
before you until you were passed over as the Lord your God did to the Red Sea,
which he dried up before us until we were gone over. That all the people of the
earth might know the hand of the Lord that it is mighty; that ye might fear the
Lord your God forever.”
