Psalm 23: A Psalm of David.
The Divine Shepherd.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green
pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul, He leads me in
the path of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk though the
valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me thy
rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou prepares a table before me in the
presence of my enemies. Thou anoints my head with oil and my cup ruins over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will
dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
