The Lord details further
punishment for carnal and immoral conduct as follows:
If a man has sexual contact
with a beast, he shall surely be put to death and the beast shall be slain. And
if a woman approaches unto a beast, and lie down therewith, thou shall kill the
woman and the beast and their blood shall be upon them.
And if a man shall take his
sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and see her nakedness,
it is wickedness and both shall be cut off in the sight of their people; he has
uncovered his sister’s nakedness and he shall bear his iniquity.
And if a man shall lie with a
woman having her sickness and shall uncover her nakedness, he has uncovered her
fountain and has uncovered the fountain of her blood; and both of them shall be
cut off from among their people.
And thou shall not uncover
the nakedness of thy mother’s sister, nor of thy father’s sister for they are
your near kin and shall bear your iniquity.
And if a man shall lie with
his uncle’s wife, he has uncovered his uncle’s nakedness, they shall bear their
sin and shall die childless.
And if a man shall take his
brother’s wife it is an unclean thing.
He has uncovered his brother’s nakedness they shall die childless.
You shall therefore keep all
my statutes and all my ordinances that the land shall not spew you out.
