BRAGADAYJAH
471
“I
shall see him but not now, I hall behold him but near; there shall come a Star
out of Jacob, and a scepter shall rise out of Israel and smite the corners of
Moab and destroy all the children of Sheth.”
What
an amazing prophesy, fulfilled in every material particular a little over two
thousand years ago with the advent of Christ, almost 4000 years later. Jesus, the brightest Star of Jacob’s line. Jesus,
the King of Israel, symbolized by the scepter.
Sheth
is symbolized by the falling of Edom and Seir and all the possessions of the
enemy, the children of tumult.
And
Edom shall be a possession, Seir shall also be a possession for his enemies,
and Israel shall do valiantly.
Out of Jacob shall he come who shall have dominion and shall destroy he that remains of the city; and when he looked at Amalek, he took up his parable and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he shall perish forever.
Out of Jacob shall he come who shall have dominion and shall destroy he that remains of the city; and when he looked at Amalek, he took up his parable and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he shall perish forever.
And
he looked at the Kenites and he said, strong is thy dwelling place, and thy put
thy nest in a rock. Nevertheless the
Kenites shall be wasted until Asshur shall carry thee away captive. And alas, who shall live when God does this?
Ships shall come from the coast of Kittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and Eber
and he shall perish forever.
And
when he was finished all his prophesying Balaam rose and returned to his home; and
Balak also rose and went his way.
