Brags/Blogs, BRAGDAYJAHS began with God the Creator of the universe, from the
first day of creation to the sixth day when all His handiwork was completed,
followed by the seventh day which He hallowed and sanctified.
After about two thousand
years, the Lord God found it necessary to wipe the slate clean; well almost,
when he destroyed all flesh, including man and beast, saving only 8 souls,
being Noah and his family including his wife and 3 sons and their wives.
Of course to preserve seed
God also spared two of everything he had created, both male and female.
In the next phase we find the
people of Israel, the grandson of Abraham whom God had called with the promise
of making his seed a great nation, oppressed and enslaved in the land of Egypt;
and after they had languished there 400 years, God brought them out with a
strong hand and planted them in the land of Canaan for an everlasting possession,
but warning them that their possession would be taken away and given to their
enemies if they failed to keep his commandments and obey his laws, statutes and
ordinances.
During the third phase God
via His servant Moses and Aaron the priest and his sons gave commandment to his
people Israel.
He gave them commandments;
and he also instructed them and enlightened them concerning the building of the
tabernacle of worship, the ornaments and priestly robes, and specific
instructions concerning atonement for sin and love and sacrificial offerings to
Him in his holy temple including laws of justice inter se, reminding them repeatedly
that He is the Lord, who had brought them out of slavery in the land of Egypt
and into a land flowing with milk and honey.
