Continuing with the offer of
special offering unto the Lord, (see Bragadayjah 370 ante) the mandate was that
if it was a beast being offered, all such beast shall be holy; it shall not be
altered or changed bad for good, or good for bad; but if it is at all changed
beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy. And if it be
an unclean beast for which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the Lord, then he
shall present the beast before the priest; and the priest shall value it
whether it be good or bad; and whatever the priest values it at or however the
priest values it , so shall it stand for it is the priest; but if the offeror
shall at all redeem it, then a fifth part thereof shall be added unto the
valuation.
And when a man shall sanctify
his house to be holy unto the Lord, then the priest shall values it, whether it
be good or bad; and as the priest shall value it so shall it be. And if he that
sanctifies it shall redeem his house, then he shall add a fifth part of the
money of the valuation unto it and it shall be his. More
