BRAGADAYJAH 352
The Sabbath and Feasts of the
Lord – First Fruits
These are the feasts of the
Lord: The Passover, unleavened bread, the
Feast of First Fruits, Wave Loaves, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of
Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernacles.
In yesterday’s episode,
Bragadayjah 351, we dealt with the Sabbath, the appointed seventh day of rest,
and also the Passover, commemorating the night of Passover in Egypt, which
points to Christ the Redeemer, and the Feast of unleavened bread, the memorial feast
of the Passover.
The next feast that of First
Fruits, points to Christ who as the writer Paul describes Him became the first
fruit of them that slept.
“And the Lord spoke unto
Moses and said, “Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, when you
are come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest
thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the first fruit of your harvest unto
the priest. And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you
on the next day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. More
