BRAGADAYJAH 519
Continuing on, Moses reminded the people of the commandments of
God given on Mount Sinai.
3 Thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the
Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
4 Keep the Sabbath day to sanctify it as the Lord your God has
commanded you. Six days shall you Labor and do all your work. But the seventh
day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God.
In it you shall do no manner of work; not you nor your son, nor your
daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your ox, nor your
cattle, nor your ass, not even the stranger that is living with you, that your
servants may rest as well as you. For remember you were once a servant in Egypt
and the Lord your God brought you out from there through a mighty hand and an
outstretched arm, therefore the Lord your God command you to keep the Sabbath
day.
5 Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has
commanded you that your days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with you
in the land which the Lord your God gives to you.
6 You must not kill.
7 You must not commit adultery
8 You must not steal
9 You must not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10 Neither shall you desire your neighbor’s wife, nor covet your
neighbor’s house, his field, his manservant or his maidservant, his ox his ass,
or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
