BRAGADAYJAH 998
Solomon Build his own House.
At the time that Solomon was building a house for the Lord,
he was building a house for himself, which was in building over a period of
thirteen years, which he also built out of the forests of Lebanon. And the
length of his house was a hundred cubits, the width thereof fifty cubits and
the height thereof thirty cubits. And it
rested upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars. And
it was covered with cedar above upon the beams that lay on forty five pillars
fifteen in a row. And there were windows in three rows and light was against
light in three ranks. All the doors and posts were square with windows and
light was against light in three ranks. And there was a porch of pillars the
length of which was fifty cubits, the width thirty cubits; and the porch was in
front of them and the other pillars and the thick beam were before them. There
was also a porch for the throne where Solomon sat to judge called the porch of
judgment and it was covered with cedar from one side of the floor to the other.
And the house in which Solomon lived had a court within the porch which was
made the same way and he also built a similar house for pharaoh’s daughter whom
he had taken to be his wife.
