BRAGADAYJAH 706
The Lord raised up Othniel to defend Israel, and God put His Spirit in him
so that he judged Israel and went out to war against Chushanrishathaim king of
Mesopotamia and the Lord delivered him into his hand, and Othniel defeated him.
And the land had rest forty years after which Othniel died; and the children of
Israel again did evil in the sight of the Lord and the Lord strengthened Eglon
king of Moab against Israel because they had done evil in the sight of the Lord.
And he also strengthened the children of Ammon and Amalek and together they
went and smote Israel and possessed the city of Palm Trees. And so the children
of Israel were made to serve Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years; and after
eighteen years being subject to the Moabite king the children of Israel cried
unto the Lord again.
