It Is Finished

Hell was vanquished,
And Heaven was born,
The work was finished,
Long before the morn.

Satan was defeated,
Christ crushed the serpent's head.
The work was then completed,
When Christ rose from the dead.

And sit now on the right hand,
Of the Father's throne in Heaven.
Awaiting for that great command,
To return to earth is given.
